About me

Helen Strausz Jones, MA, CCC-SLP

I am a Washington State licensed and ASHA Certified Speech and Language Pathologist with a passion for working collaboratively with children and their families!

Education & Experience

I received my Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my Master's in Speech Language Pathology from Western Washington University. I have worked with kids and families in many therapy settings including a nonprofit clinic, Seattle Children's Hospital, Seattle Children's Autism Center, and, most currently, privately in-home through Speech Reach and in the school district.

I believe in supporting a child and family by using child-centered and naturalistic therapy approaches, collaborating with other therapists and teachers, and fostering positive parent/child interactions and relationships. Above all, I believe that all the milestones, big or small, should be celebrated along the way.

In my spare time...

I spent my early childhood in China, where I learned conversational mandarin Chinese, a love for culture and taste for amazing food. Outside of my SLP role, you'll find me adventuring with my husband and two wild pups, traveling the world, pretending to be a chef, and boogying anytime, anywhere!
