Evaluations
An evaluation is the first step to intervention and to determine your client's strengths and challenges. Evaluations include a combination of background information, review of outside records (IEP/IFSPs, previous evaluations and therapy services), family and/or caregiver input, informal observations, and standardized testing. A report will be provided following the evaluation, as well as recommendations for therapy.
Speech and Language Therapy
Therapy sessions are typically 45 minutes and happen in the client's home. After an evaluation is complete, either through Speech Reach or with outside therapist, a plan of care with goals will be created based on the results, parent/caregiver and family input, and clinical judgement. Therapy includes direct intervention with the client, parent/caregiver coaching, and recommendations for continued home practice after the session is over.
Summer Only Therapy
To continue working on communication goals that were addressed at school through an IEP or to target new goals, short term therapy is offered during summer months. Service delivery will typically be 1-2 weekly sessions for 8-10 weeks. Summer only therapy is offered in June, July, and August. Contact now to make a reservation.
